Braxer

When other universities and unions wear overalls, we wear Braxers instead.
Why? Not only is it more stylish than regular boring overalls, it's also a practical piece of uniform with an almost endless number of pockets.

Once you have your pair of Braxer, it is up to you to put your mark on them.

Like a knight's armor, the Braxes are a part of the person they are worn by, an extension of oneself.

They are worn wet and dry.
Every stain, a memory gained.

Every patch, an adventure experienced.

No two Braxes are alike. An entire student life compressed into a masterpiece.

The Braxer come in five different colors for our base programs at Alnarp, which also have an associated patch.

The Contract

The Braxes are your property, but there are still some rules of conduct created by the uniform committee to ensure that the Braxes are worn with respect and pride. These are as follows:

You are to have both suspenders up before going on a Brax sitting.
To always wear your name, student union patch and program patch visibly.
Always wear your Braxers while you are washing them.
To always wear your Braxes in accordance with the Alnarp Student Union statutes.

Exchanging parts of your Braxer with friends, both on and off campus, is done completely freely according to your own wishes without any additional criteria. According to us, many colors just mean that you have managed to make friends across the program borders, which we value highly.

Master programs

As a master's student, you get the opportunity to dip your Braxers.
This is a sign that you have progressed in your academic journey.

Each of our master programs have a unique color that is added to the pant legs of your Braxers.

(Note that Landscape Architecture, which is also a master's program, does not color its Braxes as the master's is included in their undergraduate education)
