The little ones' weeks
The kick-off at Alnarp's student union is called the little weeks for the simple reason that it is for the little ones, that is, the new students.
The aim of the introductory weeks is to integrate the new students into campus life, introduce them to Alnarp, the student union and give everyone a pleasant first time.
Participating during the toddler weeks is completely voluntary.
You may want to participate in all the activities, just a few or none at all. All types of participation are okay and you should not feel obligated to participate if you don't want to.
The Small Committee
The Småtting Committee has the main responsibility during the Småtting weeks. These people are most easily recognized by the fact that they wear top hats.
During the toddler weeks, they enter their role as "generals" and will do their utmost not to break that character.
But don't let their appearance fool you. They are there for you and will undoubtedly answer any questions you may have.

Sponsors
The sponsors are numerous and always present. Each program is assigned one or more main sponsors who will act as their contact person during the toddler weeks.
Regardless of which program a sponsor belongs to, there is something for everyone.
The sponsors are recognizable by their colorful breams and shirts that clearly say "sponsor".
Every day there are always designated "sober sponsors" who are also distinguished, in their case with a colorful ribbon.
Alcohol
During the small weeks, there are many parties and events where alcohol is consumed. All consumption of alcohol is at your own risk and alcohol consumption from sponsors and generals is strictly prohibited.
According to tradition, the first few days of the little ones' weeks are alcohol-free. It is not permitted to bring or drink alcohol, this applies to both little ones and sponsors.
At all events where alcohol is allowed, there will be "sober sponsors" who are distinguished by colorful ribbons. These sponsors are not allowed to drink alcohol the entire day they are wearing the ribbon.
This is for safety reasons so that everyone has a good time and so that no one could get hurt.
During parties organized by the party committee, no one may bring their own alcohol and the members of the party committee are then responsible instead of the sober sponsors.
A safe start
During the toddler weeks, you are the focus as a newly admitted child. Making you feel welcome, safe and secure is the most important thing for us.
In order for us to comply with this, we have many student union members who help arrange and support you during the toddler weeks.
Everyone who participates during the toddler weeks has signed an agreement with the union stating that they put the well-being of the toddlers first.
Only people who have signed this contract are allowed to attend.
Little ones don't sign contracts.
During the toddler weeks, "toddler peace" applies, which is also included in the contract signed by all organizers.
The Småttingfriden ensures that no general or godfather may enter into a relationship with a Småtting.
This includes flirting, sexual innuendo, or other inappropriate behavior.
