Without the Traditions Committee's extensive knowledge of everything related to the corps and how a true ascetic should behave, the entire operations of the corps would have been at stake...
TradU conducts its activities in silence and is only visible where they must, such as at parties and sit-ins in connection with speeches and singing.
One of their most important missions is to reward those who serve the corps.
One of the best things that can happen to a student union member is to receive their student union name. If a member has held a position on a committee, council or board for a year, this person will receive a new name in honor of the student union.
This name is bestowed by TradU under extremely solemn forms and after baptism the ascetic is reborn as a true servant of the corps.
About being on the committee
The Traditions Committee consists of five members who in various ways ensure that traditions and memories live on within Alnarp's student union. Although they always work together to preserve the soul of the union, they have individual assignments that often mean they carry out their tasks on their own.

President
The TradU chairman ensures that everyone knows where and when to report to their posts. The chairman is also the one who organizes baptisms in connection with the large corps meetings four times a year. These baptisms are for those ascetics who have held an active post within the corps for a year, and this tradition goes back to the formation of the corps in 1997.
Field Marshal
As a student council marshal, you will lead all participants in our sessions through the evening, introduce speakers and other activities, and ensure that everyone has a great evening.
Song introduction
As the song leader, you are the one who sets the tone during the evening and makes sure that everyone has a songbook or other song lyrics in front of them to follow along with our student songs.
Standard bearer
As a standard bearer, you travel to finer events and major events within SLU such as the doctoral conferment ceremony and professor installation with ASK's own standard to present our union.
Master of ceremonies
Towards the end of the academic year, the Master of Ceremonies, together with the board and the party committee, plans a closing ceremony for all prospective examinees. This ceremony includes a ring ceremony, speeches and diploma presentation.
