To be in the committee
The committee has an elective position in the form of chairman, but as a participant in the activities you do not need to feel any greater responsibility than having an adventurous soul.

As chair of the outdoor recreation committee, you have the main responsibility for planning and arranging activities for the members.
You also ensure that you inform participants about what they need to bring with them in the form of clothing or any equipment, and review and plan how they can best get to and from their intended destination.
